Lisa Cavigliano, Membership Manager
As Membership Manager, Lisa gets to spend time with some of the hippest, coolest and most fun arts patrons in the contemporary art world. Her favorite part of her job is getting to use so much of the color ICA-pink! When Lisa was little, she wanted to be a cowgirl, a geologist or Elton John. Now, she wants to be one of the Lovely Ladies in the Dave Matthews Band. Her best quality is her stamp collection and she’s happiest when she’s using her passport.
Sarah Dragovich, Online Content Manager
Sarah’s job is Online Content Manager. Her favorite part of her job is working with artists. When Sarah was little she hated doing math. Now she has a Masters degree in Art History. Her best quality is petting kittens. Sarah is happiest when she is doing yoga!
Cathy Kimball, Executive Director and Chief Curator
As Executive Director, Cathy’s job at the ICA is keeping up with everyone else. Her favorite part of the job is when everyone pretends to listen to her. When Cathy was little, she wanted to be Ella Fitzgerald. Now she wants to rule the world. Cathy’s best quality is not patience. She’s happiest when everyone is pretending to listen to her.
Marielle Mervau, Curatorial Assistant and Visitor Experience Coordinator
Michael Oechsli, Installation and Facilities Manager
Mike’s job at the ICA is Installation and Facility Manager. His favorite part of his job is driving the scissor-lift. When Mike was little he wanted to be Han Solo. Now he wants to be Han Solo. His best quality is his enthusiasm for collecting comic books. Mike is happiest when eating.
Lee Ann Payne, Deputy Director
Lee Ann’s job is acting like the Deputy Director. Her favorite part of the job is performing complex financial operations like adding and multiplying. When Lee Ann was little she tried to train her cats to do tricks. She’s since given up and now enjoys their antics in YouTube videos. Lee Ann’s best quality is her sense of humor. She is happiest when she is performing on stage.
Patricia Cariño Valdez, Curator and Director of Public Programs
Serving as the Curator and Director of Public Programs, Patricia’s job is to make awesome things happen. Her favorite part of the job is collaborating with hardworking and enthusiastic artists. When Patricia was little, she wanted to be a chemist / fisherwoman / baker. Now, she wants to be constantly learning, moving, and thinking. She’s happiest when devouring lots of delicious chocolate.
